There’s a lot of people who are totally comfortable with Jesus in the car (of your life) just not behind the wheel; you don’t mind Him being around, you just prefer He stays in the backseat (of your life). There is a better option.
We will be exploring the option through May.  Hope you will join us is this journey.

(March 14) JOHN 1,2,3 | part 1

(March 21) JOHN 1,2,3 | part 2

Pastor Dale answers your questions

How often have you misjudged someone? We all do it. We assume something about a person based on what we’ve heard, or what we’ve seen. It’s not until we really listen and get to know them that we realize just how wrong we’ve been.
There is nothing more important than a right understanding of God.  Every day we have fears, concerns, and demands that distract our lives and compete for our attention.  Before long, we begin to filter God’s character and nature through our experiences, creating a god in our image. When we let our misconceptions about God shape our view of Him, our suspicions grow and our faith weakens.

Christmas traditions are what makes this time of the year so special. Things we’ve done since before we can remember, have been handed down to our kids (and maybe even their kids). It causes us to think back–and that’s good.
But if all you ever do is look back, you’re going to have a sore neck. What would happen if you looked forward, too? What could happen if you stretched forward to imagine what God could do in you, around you and through you, this holiday season?

Because PBN Church believes in the power of prayer, we are taking 40 days to focus on it beginning on Sunday, September 13, 2020.
Most of us these days are struggling with a difficult situation or circumstance in our life and we need a breakthrough. Whether it’s praying for a breakthrough in marriages, health, finances, or relationships, persistent prayer is how God moves to transform people’s lives.

Everyone loves a second chance story.  American actress, Rachel Griffiths said, “There’s nothing as exciting as a comeback–seeing someone with dreams, watching them fail, and then getting a second chance.”
It’s true. There’s nothing like a second chance.

It’s been said that Jesus came to comfort the afflicted, and to afflict the comfortable, so we’re going to take a few weekends to look at some of the situations where Jesus turned ‘normal’ into ‘awkward’ pretty quickly, forcing people to choose between the coziness of ‘we’ve always done it this way’ and a new and mostly uncomfortable way of life.

If you need it, you can find it…
about anything.

But do you know how to really live?

Do you know how to become a ‘master’ at living?

Life is hard. Everyone understands that; everyone expects life to be hard. What catches us by surprise is when HOME is hard.
Home is supposed to be your castle; your solace; your ‘fortress of solitude’; your safety and security net; the place where you can be you, and it’s supposed to be peaceful and relaxing and recharging…but for most it’s not.

What do we do when home is hard?

Genesis 12:10-20; Ephesians 5:21-25,33

Have you ever had one of ‘those’ questions? One where you should know the answer, but you don’t know the answer; or thought you knew what was right but now you’re questioning your thinking? We all do. It’s in those moments when we’re searching for answers, but want to avoid embarrassment that we usually pull out the ‘I’m asking for a friend’ card.

We all want to belong…it’s in our DNA. But most of the time our craving to fit in causes us to search in all the wrong places; doing really dumb things and ending up a long way away from where we hoped to be–being a part of something real, authentic and worth belonging to.

During this short, three-week series, we’ll talk about the importance of creating a place where everyone can belong.

John 12:24-25, 12:37; Romans 6:3-4

As kids, we’re taught to monitor our behavior. It’s good parenting and helps us behave, but it also teaches us something potentially life-threatening: That if we say the right thing, and do the right thing, then our heart must be in the right place too. That’s dangerous–because if it’s one thing that we’re REALLY good at, it’s pretending. We can convince others (and ourselves) of almost anything. There are enemies in your heart–monsters–that can completely destroy you from the inside. And all the right behavior in the world, won’t save you.

Are you ALL IN?

WEEK 1 (September 16, 2018) All In: All People | One Church

Genesis 12:1-5

WEEK 2 (September 23, 2018) All In: Evangelism

Youth Pastor Trevor Warren

WEEK 3 (September 30, 2018) All In:

Are You All In?

In Jesus’ time on earth, He wasn’t interested in token gestures. He didn’t care about outward behavior. He shook up anyone whose faith was lukewarm, and He brought hope to the broken, the lost, and those tangled in sin by showing them what true worship could be.
In this series, we’ll go beyond the simple slogans of what it means to follow Christ, and open ourselves up to discover the knots in our lives that Jesus wants to undo, so that we can live an authentic faith.

WEEK 1 (August 26, 2018) Undo Hypocrisy

WEEK 2 (September 2, 2018) Undo Hollow Worship

WEEK 3 (September 9, 2018) Undo Indifference

Revelation 3:15-17

There are a list of beliefs that Christians have adhered to since before the bible was finished being written.  It’s a list of irreducible minimums of the faith.  It’s a safe bet that you know about them, but as a Christian, do you live by them?  Can you call yourself a Christian if you don’t live by the minimums of your faith.

WEEK 1 (June 3, 2018)

WEEK 2 (June 10, 2018)

WEEK 3 (June 24, 2018)

WEEK 9 (August 12, 2018)

WEEK 10 (August 19, 2018)

To defy something means that you go against it; resist it; refuse it.  This is normally not in our nature to do.  As Christians, we normally accept, tolerate, get along with others because, well, isn’t that what we’re supposed to do?  When is it okay to defy something as a Christian?

WEEK 1 (May 6, 2018) Defy Conventions  John 2:13-16

WEEK 2 (May 13, 2018) Defy Ungodly Authority  Acts 5:29

WEEK 3 (May 20, 2018)  Defy the Impossible  Matt 17:20
